Hi, I’m Iska — a photographer, horsewoman, mother, and Canadian army veteran. My work is all about connection — between horses and humans, pets, loved ones, and the deep parts of ourselves we sometimes forget to honour.

Photography found me through the lens of real life: muddy boots, moments of quiet courage, and the raw beauty of presence. I specialize in photographing horses with their humans, portrait sessions, and soulful images that hold more than what’s visible.

I believe photographs hold the power to preserve stories—especially those between horse and human. Whether you're celebrating a milestone, honouring a partnership, or remembering a beloved companion, I aim to create images that reflect the depth of that connection.
